hi all,

need some help/advice on a small set-up im doing for my parents.

they have a main computer which they want connected to the internet through wires, they then have a wireless equipped laptop which they would like to connect to the internet through wireless.

now what i think they need is a modem router, is this correct?

they have a 2mb pipex line, they would like the fastest connection to the laptop as well, this around the 1mb i beleive.

i have bought them this
www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=45011&DOY=2m6&criteria=wifi

now ive not looked at the setup yet but would this be able to connect both with wires and without?

any help is appreciated.
thanks

Yes you should be able to connect your computer( with cables) and also your laptop(wireless) to the internet via the ADSL Modem Router without any problems.
