I am setting up a hot spot and am confused on how to configure 2 ap's to work together. Users browsers are redirected to a home page where they can login. The main ap is what controls access. The second is covering an area further away. So I need the second to communicate with the frist for authenication. I am not connecting the ap's wirelessly. I am running a cable between them. Hope I didn't confuse you, help!

Have you asked the manufacturere? That's always the first step.

They shouldn't both be combo AP w routers as it adds complexity.
Likely both APs need to be wired to a central router.
If one has router and multiple ports built in, connect the standalone AP to this AP/Router in one of the other ports.

Ensure the APs are using DIFFERENT CHANNEL assignements, make one 1 and the other 11 (other freqs available outside US).
