Hi All,

We are setting up a small office. The total size is 100x50 feet (30x15 m).

We have an outer office with a cable modem and D-Link DLW-514 11b wireless cable router (Router1).

We have an inner office with a wired 4 computer lan. We would like to allow the inner lan to use the cable modem, but isolate the inner lan from the outer office users (so they cannot see it)

Solution?

Buy another DLW-514 (Router2), wire the R2 WAN port to an R1 wired port. Change the addresses of the R's (R1=192.168.1.1 and R2=192.168.2.1).

Will this work? Will it isolate the inner net from the outer net with R2's NAT?

People have told me You can't route routers and are you nuts? . Any ideas?

Thanks much,
Barry.
