Hi all, Im new here, please be gentle with me.

Re: sending wireless broadband to a wireless 4 port router? Possible

I've just move house. Previously I had a cable modem (NTL) with ethernet out, which plugged into the LAN port of my Belkin 4 port wireless router and my PC and Mac were connected its ethernet ports and my laptop used the wireless bit.

Here's where everythings changed.

I now have ADSL, coming in to a phone line downstairs. I need an ADSL modem but, I don't want to have an 80 foot ethernet cable trailing upstairs to the Belkin 4 port wireless router which is where the PC and Mac are.

Ideal scenario would be that I buy a Belkin ADSL wireless modem which would beam the internet to the Belkin 4 port wireless router upstairs (rather than the Ethernet cable option) and my laptop could access the internet via either or both wireless devices.

Your experience and advice will be greatly appreciated

Dave
