I have a Linksys wireless G adapter and a HP ZE4200 series laptop. It is
running windows xp pro. I have been working at a remote site where the
owner has a wireless network. He has not encypted it and said we could buy
adapters for our laptops and use the internet. My three co-workers have
laptops and their adapter cards work. They simply plug it in and are
connected. I am having a lot more trouble though. I plug in my adapter
card and nothing happens. I tried to configure the card with the limited
tools linksys provides. This did not help. In fact all it did was screw
up my connection to the LAN back at work. I had to restore my computer to
get my LAN connections back. I don't know what is wrong. Any ideas?????
Thanks!!!

sir
may i know which operating system are you having in your system....
if you are using win 98 first edition....
linksys wireless g adapter does not support win98
so what i suggest you is to check which operating system are having....
if its winxp......
then go into your device manager and check for the wireless adapter card
whether the card is installed properly or not...
and if it shows any type of red sign or any exclamation mark to it....
then try to uninstall the drivers which are already installed in your pc
& install the drivers from the linksys cd to get it done....
