Hi, first of all tell me if you have enabled
any security on your wireless network or not, like
WEP or WPA. The Red color laptop in the system
tray is the icon of the netgear utility. In
case you have any security in your wireless
network, then open the netgear utility by clicking
on the red laptop. Then on the first window
,right side you would find the option 'Enter WEP
key', just enter the key and press apply or ok.
It would work, if not then reply me.
Thanks |

there is a firmware upgrade for this problem on
netgear.com
aor try this first, go into task manager on the
pc and look for process wLan, they may be 2
or 3 of these running, end all of them and
the little red pc icon will go, eject the pci
card and reinsert and goto start and programs and
re launch netgear wlan. it should sort if it
wont load, resart laptop and it will auto load..
this pci card is renowned for loading to many
times and conflicting!!!
If it still wont work take it back and buy a
belkin or phillips pci wifi card!!! |
