Japan System House Association Announces Largest Embedded Technology Conference in Asia; ET2003 Will Showcase Application Themes
BELLINGHAM, Wash.---/Wi-Fi Technology News/---May 23, 2003--Japan System House Association (JASA) will be holding its 17th annual Embedded Technology Conference (ET2003) in Yokohama, Japan, November 10 through 14, 2003.
Featuring a comprehensive technical program, including in-depth tutorials and tomorrow's application themes, ET2003 provides a unique opportunity for design engineers and managers to grasp the advanced techniques that address programming and real-time design challenges. Attendees will be able to test the latest embedded hardware, semiconductors/integrated circuits, design tools, middleware, and many other products from more than 250 vendors, including Microsoft, Wind River, ARM, Texas Instruments, NEC, Fujitsu, Xilinx, Mentor Graphics and MontaVista.
"We are very pleased to have so many leading companies participating at ET2003 Exhibition & Conference," said Takanori Matsuo, chairman of JASA. "We had great success with ET2002 at our new venue, Pacifico Yokohama, where we had more than 10,000 conference attendees, 120 session programs, and about 17,000 attendees for the exhibition. ET2003 will continue to provide the latest technical information to attendees, as well as greater business opportunities to exhibitors through our new support programs."
ET 2003's 120+ conference sessions address today's hottest design topics, including encryption/decryption, Wi-Fi, audio and video, Linux, and real-time design. The sessions will enable design engineers to obtain the latest embedded know-how needed to create state-of-the-art design solutions. Each conference session provides up-to-date answers to the embedded industry's toughest questions. The tutorial sessions will be held on November 10 and 11 prior to the start of the exhibition, followed by conference programs and exhibitions from November 12 to 14.
ET2003 will spotlight application themes covering digital consumer electronics/multimedia, automotive electronics/telematics, and mobile computing. The emergence of advanced processors, better development tools, and high-speed Internet access has created a plethora of opportunities for consumer electronics products that combine audio and video technologies.
"Moving the venue to the world-class Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center is a real boon for the ET2003 trade show, enabling larger exhibition spaces and better facilities," said Steve Szirom, ET2003's North American promoter and president of InsideChips.com. "The modern facility features a 200,000+ square-foot exhibition hall and an annex integrated with the Conference Center and the Grand Inter-Continental Hotel. Both attendees and exhibitors will benefit from the lower costs of Yokohama, and the area's convenient accessibility from Tokyo."
More than 16,000 attendees are expected to attend ET2003. Registration for attendees is free with pre-registration. ET2003 is offering conference exhibitors attractive booth packages and an array of optional services. Exhibitors can take advantage of special services, such as turnkey booths, suite rooms, workshops, open-stage presentations, show promotions, and the Venture Village Pavilion.
