The Future of Business is in Mobility

That means, in order to lead and succeed in today?s markets, a company must fulfil the business requirements of multiple time zones routinely set out in partnerships and customer relationships.
In today?s fast-paced and high-tech environment, up to 80% of all communications, whether it be business to business or business to customer, happens over the Internet and through email. It has been shown that only a small percentage of employees, about 25%, have 24-hour Internet access and email capabilities. So, despite the fact that one third of company employees are willing to work away from the office, the lack of accessibility to necessary information is proving to be a discouraging factor.
Multimedia wireless access has already proven to improve the way workers interact with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. This means that accessibility must be promptly addressed to further utilize such wireless technologies. One way to address the accessibility problem is for enterprises to deploy not only one method of access (Blackberry for executives) but also a variety of more cost effective access methods such as WAP, speech access and email synchronization to lower cost devices. Such methods would provide employees with the necessary information to work productively away from the office.
