D-LINK REVEALS THE NEXT-GENERATION OF LAYER 3 SWITCHES, INTERNET SECURITY CAMERAS AND OUTDOOR WIRELESS SOLUTIONS AT SUPERCOMM 2003
D-Link Is Demonstrating Future-Proof Switch Technology, Internet Cameras, the i2eye VideoPhone, Voice Over IP Solutions and a Wide Range of Award-Winning Wireless Products At Booth #23277 at the Georgia World Congress Center

Atlanta, GA, June 3, 2003 ? D-Link, the worldwide leader in manufacturing of networking, Broadband and digital electronic technologies, announced today that it is displaying a wide range of new and improved Layer 3 switches, indoor and outdoor wireless products and a wireless IP security internet camera at SuperComm 2003 in booth #23277 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Convention goers will see the next-generation of future-proof high-speed Gigabit chassis-based switch technology with the flexibility and versatility of a stackable solution, the D-Link DGS-3224SR. Designed as a medium-to high-end enterprise-level switching solution, the D-Link 3200 Series of stackable Gigabit switching solutions represents the next evolution of D-Link's switching line

"SuperComm is an excellent venue to display our new and emerging technologies for the telecom industry," said Steven Joe, president of D-Link. "As an example, our new 3200 Series stackable Gigabit switching solutions will deliver the awesome performance the telecom industry needs with new levels of scalability."

Also on display are D-Link's new AirPremier Outdoor Wireless product family and the Home Security Enhanced Wireless Internet Camera. The D-Link AirPremier Outdoor Wireless products offer exceptional range and high-speed connectivity within a sturdy protective enclosure allowing businesses to create a large outdoor wireless hotspot for customers and employees or connect networks between satellite buildings without paying additional weatherproofing costs or monthly access fees. The D-Link Home Security Enhanced Wireless Internet Camera is a complete video and audio monitoring solution that provides a live high-quality video and audio feed at up to 30 frames per second over any available D-Link AirPlus, 802.11b or 802.11g draft-compliant wireless network, easing the planning and logistics of creating a single or multi-camera monitoring system in warehouses, office complexes, assembly lines or home nurseries.

Other demonstrations at D-Link's booth include the company's i2eye DVC-1000 Broadband VideoPhone, the D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G 802.11g draft compliant family for wireless products and D-Link's complete Voice over IP (VoIP) solution, including both Internet gateways and standalone IP-enabled handsets.

D-Link Is Displaying Its Communications, Video, Voice and Networking Solutions: The D-Link DGS-3224SR Next Generation Stacking Switch with an integrated 10Gig-Stacking system, advanced multi-layer 2/3/4 packet classification and prioritization, intelligent network management and robust security policies, is designed to meet the infrastructure requirements from small high-performance workgroups to large departmental data centers. D-Link's DGS-3224SR incorporates features found only in expensive chassis-based switches, including high port density, hot swapping, redundant power options, link aggregation, Rapid Spanning Tree, advanced security and network management.

The D-Link AirPremier Outdoor Wireless Solution gives user the ability to easily setup an outdoor wireless hot spot. The DWL-1700AP is an 802.11b access point with firewall and NAT features built-in and the DWL-1750 is an 802.11b bridge/router combo. Both of these products come in rugged housings that are completely weather proof to protect against anything that nature can throw at them. The units both take advantage of the Power over Ethernet (PoE), so a local power outlet is not necessary for installation. In conjunction with D-Link's new ANT24-1800 High-Gain Directional Antenna, a wireless bridge can be created using the DWL-1750 that can span up to 25 miles.

The D-Link DCS-2100+ 802.11b+ Wireless Internet Camera with Built-In Microphone is a next generation Internet Camera that is based on last year's D-Link DCS-1000W - Best of CES 2002 finalist. The new DCS-2100+ builds on the award-winning camera and adds more features, including the ability to stream audio as well as video anywhere over a local network and can stream video anywhere over the Internet. Now including integrated motion detection, the DCS-2100+ is an excellent surveillance device that delivers streamed images from home, day care centers, businesses or anywhere else surveillance is needed to an Internet Explorer Web browser.

The D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G 802.11g Wireless Networking Solution provides up to 54Mbps bandwidth in the 2.4GHz frequency range, making the D-Link G solution a fast, flexible and scalable combination of speed and range. D-Link's AirPlus Xtreme G 802.11g wireless networking solution includes the AirPlus Xtreme G DI-624 Wireless Router with 4-port switch, the AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G650 Wireless CardBus Adapter, the AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G520 PCI Adapter and the AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-2000AP Access Point.

D-Link VoIP-Based Phone Handsets and Residential Gateways integrate voice and data communications on IP-based networks. This line of voice services provide a robust, inexpensive VoIP solution that simplifies SMB and enterprise networks, greatly reducing phone toll costs and lowering overall network overhead costs. The IP Phone handsets look and perform as standard telephones while transmitting information over the IP network. Residential gateways connect standard telephone handsets to the IP network through multiple ports.

The D-Link i2eye DVC-1000 VideoPhone provides users with the ability to "videospeak" or video conference with family, friends and business associates locally and long distance over any broadband connection. It delivers sound and images directly to the television screen. Comparable in quality and features to videophones used by large corporations and costing thousands of dollars, i2eye is easy to use and affordable for individuals and small businesses.
