Cingular Announced That Tritel PCS and TeleCorp will Redeem their Senior Notes
ATLANTA -/9 Nov, 2004 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Cingular Wireless LLC, a joint venture between SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE: SBC) and BellSouth Corp. (NYSE: BLS), announced yesterday that, in connection with the acquisition of AT&T Wireless Services, Inc., Tritel PCS, Inc. and TeleCorp Wireless, Inc., which are subsidiaries of AT&T Wireless, will redeem their respective outstanding senior subordinated notes.
The redemptions are being made with respect to Tritel's 10-3/8% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2011 (the "Tritel Notes") and TeleCorp's 10-5/8% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2010 (the "TeleCorp Notes"). The Tritel Notes will be redeemed on November 24, 2004 and the TeleCorp Notes will be redeemed on July 15, 2005. Tritel and TeleCorp have each irrevocably deposited funds with the trustee for the applicable Notes, in each case sufficient to pay all amounts to be paid in connection with the redemption of the Notes on the applicable redemption date and, in the case of the TeleCorp Notes, interest payments due prior to the redemption date.
Accordingly, the indentures have been satisfied and discharged.
