Atlanta, GA--/13 Jan, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Mike Landman, president of technology consulting firm Ripple, announced that his company has created a large free wireless hotspot in downtown Atlanta?s Centennial Park in conjunction with wireless provider 3rd Wave.

The hotspot, which will be part of the 3rd Wave Free HotSpot network, covers almost 75% of the park and is 3rd Wave?s largest contiguous free hotspot (second to the Lenox Mall food court, another 3rd Wave Free HotSpot).

?We are happy to provide this free hotspot as a service to downtown business people and visitors and hope that this will augment the City?s great success at making Centennial Park and Downtown Atlanta a great place to work, live and congregate,? Landman said.
