LONDON, -/20 April, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology Forum/- D-Link, the leading provider of networking and communication solutions to the consumer, SMB and enterprise markets is today showcasing its MIMO range of smart antenna ‘Super G’ 108Mbps wireless products for the first time in the UK at the Wireless LAN Event, Olympia. Visitors to Stand #800 will also be able to see a number of new solutions being launched at the event such as the revolutionary DCS-2100G wireless IP surveillance camera, providing a fully featured surveillance system that offers remote, high quality video and audio monitoring over the Internet, and connectivity to an 802.11b/g or 10/100Mbps Ethernet broadband network.

Comprising the DI-624M 108Mbps wireless router and DWL-G650M 108Mbps wireless PC card, D-Link’s new standard-based 802.11g WiFi line of MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) wireless products feature a revolutionary smart antenna wireless networking technology that delivers breakthrough performance with up to eight times effective power over traditional 802.11g/b wireless networks.
Easy to set up and install, D-Link Super G™ with MIMO enhances the speed and range of a wireless network through Smart Antenna technologies including beamforming. Beamforming allows the wireless data signal to focus towards the target device recipient and allows the signal to propagate further ranges in that direction. Even with non-MIMO enabled wireless products, the D-Link Super G™ with MIMO solution will give increased performance to current D-Link Xtreme G™ and AirPlus™ G+ families of product.
At the event, D-Link will also be featuring its 16-port Power over Ethernet switch (DES-1316K); perfect for environments requiring minimal cabling and ideal for wireless network installations, and the DWL-G132 108Mbps wireless USB adapter.
