UK Mobile Devices Solutions Provider Bitarts Placed Into Administration




Stephen Katz and David Birne of Fisher Partners London have been appointed as joint administrators of the company.

-/July 27, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/-Amongst its well respected products Bitarts includes an Enterprise solution for the secure delivery, remote activation and payment processing of software for Mobile Devices. Uniquely this solution supports wireless platforms including Java, Symbian, Pocket PC/Smartphone along with Windows and Mac.

Bitarts' software protection is proven technology. A branded version delivered to Vincera Inc. (formerly known as Smarte Solutions) has been licensed to Microsoft Games, Sony and TriActive among others.

Bitarts was negotiating for funding that would have allowed it to exploit its product portfolio, particularly in the wireless arena where it considers itself to be 2 years ahead of its competition.

In February 2005 Mobile Streams, the global mobile content provider entered into an agreement with Bitarts to provide their technology to license and charge for games sold and used on the Symbian platform.
During January 2005 Bitarts was granted a patent for one of its key core protection technologies.
