SpectraLink Names New Director of European Operations

BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 20.
SpectraLink Corporation (Nasdaq: SLNK), an industry pioneer in enterprise wireless communications, today announced the appointment of Simon Burland as Director of European operations. Burland's appointment signals SpectraLink's growing presence in the burgeoning European enterprise wireless market.


Prior to joining SpectraLink, Burland garnered his 18 years of experience in the service provider, data networking and ultimately channel environments. Most recently, Burland served as Vice President of Small Business Enterprise Hosting of Verio, the Web-hosting arm of NTT, where he spearheaded the redevelopment of the telecom giant's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) business units. Burland also built his industry credentials at Cisco Systems, where he worked as Director of Sales Operations-Global Systems Integrators. He also held management and sales positions with telecom heavyweights British Telecom and Cable and Wireless.
