Press Release from Businesswire

MachineTalker, Inc. announces demonstration of its prototype MiniTalkers(TM) that automatically establish a multi-node wireless, ad hoc, mesh network among themselves. Each MiniTalker(TM) carries its own sensors for temperature and vibration, and shares results with other members of its "Community" for collective pre-processing and evaluation.

The first target is the gathering of vibration data in sections of airframes during flight and landing, where sensors can be affixed and re-located without rewiring. The second will be installation within shipping containers for on-board security using a variety of sensor types.
According to CEO Roland F. Bryan, "Each MachineTalker is a modular arrangement of a microprocessor, a miniature radio, and a power supply. Together, these components are able to become the Intelligent Proxy for any entity, device or sensor."
MachineTalkers(TM) will be produced in several forms, from uncomplicated TagTalkers(TM) to a complex version with high performance processing power. And, every Talker(TM) will carry with it the proprietary Simple Machine Management Protocol(TM), the SMMP(TM) operating system.
Bryan said, "The key is the SMMP(TM) operating system that permits formation of MachineTalker communities where wireless participants can come-and-go, and where each can contribute information for collective processing on a local basis. SMMP also provides for Power Management, so that batteries last longer in remote applications."
The Company is working with several Government prime contractors to facilitate these and other applications. Bryan believes that every industry will have applications that can be enhanced by the use of MachineTalkers.

Note: MachineTalker, Talker, MicroTalker, MiniTalker, TagTalker and SMMP are all Trademarks of MachineTalker, Inc.
