HSBC Banks on Sirocom for Global Remote Access Services to their Worldwide Offices
November 21, 2003 /Wi-Fi Technology News/- Virtual network operator, Sirocom, announced a global contract with HSBC for the provision of global roaming services to the Group?s executives. With a large, international workforce, HSBC?s users require consistent, easy, and managed network access wherever they are in the world, whenever they need it.
The announcement comes following a successful trial of HSBC?s Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets division comprising over 4,000 mobile users. Sirocom now provides a fully integrated, managed service to all of HSBC?s global regions utilising the intuitive ?iPassConnectTM? client which allows remote users to access multiple ISPs in over 150 countries at the cost of a local call at the remote end.
Each region has the flexibility to customise Sirocom?s service to its own specific requirements.
In addition to Sirocom?s management and service, HSBC benefits from Sirocom?s online customer service portal ? FlexiVision ? which incorporates FlexiAdmin and FlexiBill allowing HSBC to administer and organise their remote user pool online as well as providing them with real time access to remote usage and billing information.
