hi all & help please,
I have a pc running win98se which has a ethernet card which is plugged into my cable modem,now what i want to do is share my broardband connection with a new laptop ive bought which is WI FI enabled the laptop is running win xp, now i know i need a router which i believe i have to plug my ethernet cable into the router from my desktop pc (is this right?)
now do i need any other hardware to do this & if i dont is it easy to set up etc????
the router is a linksys which says its for a cable modem connection
