Using a laptop not listed as sold in Australia,
loaded with Vista Home Premium, and my netgear WGT
624 will not recognise it. Laptop recognises a
netgear router but despite sitting on top of it
almost, says it is a weak signal. My husband is
happily connected via the netgear router and he
is 4 rooms away. Router security is WEP and I
have entered laptop MAC address etc, also entered
router details on laptop.
Can anyone advise what other settings I should be
looking at as I have obviously missed something
and I need the wifi up and running ASAP.
