Hello everyone, I am looking for someone who knows
a bit about how wireless works. Got 2
questions:
How are radio waves translated into data
packets when a radio signal is bridged to the
wired network?
and a difficult one,
What limits the theoretical throughput in a wireless
network? what limits 802.11b radios from
transmitting at more than 11Mbps and
802.11g radios from transmitting at more than 108
Mbps? Is it something physical on the equipment
or programmable on the firmware?
Sure hope someone can answer me, if not educated
guesses are welcome...
