Subject: G604T router ADSL connection - connected yet not connected?

I have had my G604T router for about 6 months
and it's been working fine until today.
My computers can connect to it fine, both
wirelessly and over the wire, and I can log into
the router and see its settings. However cannot
get any access to the intarweb. Having checked that
my ISP isn't down (it isn't - I was able
to log in using my old ADSL modem) I started
to worry.
Here's the strange bit: in the router interface
screen, under DSL status it shows that the
ADSL connection to Tiscali (my ISP) is connected.
However, under Connection Status it claims that
connection 1 (which is my Tiscali ADSL
connection) is disconnected. The ADSL led is on,
and resetting the router doesn't change things.
Does anyone have any clue what would cause this?

hey, i'm having this exact same problem, did you
find a solution? or does anyone have any
suggestions as to how to fix this?
