Hi Liam,
I actually have a couple of questions:
1) What is a wireless ISPs greatest
problem when deploying its infrastructure?
2) When you go our to purchase
equipment what sort of things do you look for
from the vendor, the product, etc?
3) What manufacturers do you find fit
your needs the best?
Thanks!
Ronen

Hi Liam,
I have a few questions for you.
My company are setting up wireless networking at my
home, so I can use my work laptop and access
my work system.
I spend a lot of time travelling and will need
to use the laptop on the road.
How do I log into wireless connection hotspots (say
a coffee bar network), do I have to use a
password or ist it usually an unsecured network?
The nature of my work is also something that I
do not want to leave a trace of.
I understand that each computer's internet connection
generates an IP address where my surfing and work
file-sharing can be monitored and traced.
If I use someone/some-place's (say coffee bar)
internet connection, will the file-sharing & surfing
be able to be traced to me directly or will
it end at the coffee shop?, therefore making me
anonymous?
If I am not anonymous, how do I make myself
so? |
