Hello there.
My company is doing this project where field instrument (i.e level sensor,
pressure transmitter) at the outstation will transmit signal to the master
through GPRS. ADSL router with fixed IP address will accept that signal. I
have another DSL router with fixed IP address that is redundant with the
ADSL one. The ADSL router using broadband service while DSL using dial-up
service.
The question is, if the broadband service at the ADSL break down, I want
incoming signals from the field instrument to go DSL. How do I do that? The
switching between 2 fixed IP address. Do I need to use hunting line? Or,
does the internet provider provide that service, or is it behind the
coding/configuration of the field instrument/routers?
I really need help on this
Thank you for your cooperation
