I wish visitors post their problems here instead of sending them to
support, we only answer support requests if that has to do with one of our
sites. This question / problem is to do with Orange Livebox.
Anyway, a reader sent this:
"I had to uninstall my wanadoo wi-fi software because of a problem with my
"Livebox". When I went to re-install the software to set up the livebox
again I could not get past the first page.
It said, turn off antivirus software , then click on continue. When I did
this nothing happened. It would not continue.
I have tried the setup disk in another computer and it works OK.
I have done this uninstall and re-install several times before without any
problem, but now I have this issue.
Can anyone help, please?"
To be honest, can't fully grasp what's the problem from the details you
gave, but I suspect when it said antivirus it meant also your firewall or
any software that is there to insure nothing is installed without your
permission. Make sure you reboot the machine and complete the installing
process from the Orange CD (Freeserve, Fsnet, Wanadoo...are all part of
Orange now, well at the time of writing, who knows they may be green by
now) .
