Hello all,
i am having two routers:
1) Vood 452W_A
and
2) Linksys WAG354G
The first one got internet access and the second one i would like to use it as a repeater between a laptop and the first one.
So i would like to know the following:
a) can be done?
b) do they must have the same SSID?
c) same WPA-PSK password?
d) what about the IPs?
thanks a lot for your help, and if you can't be bothered answer to me, please provide me with the nessesary links at least.

We have to check first whether the routers are fesd with one another or not and then it has to check with sever on teh network called Linksys, but some of the other computers on the Netgear one.

Hi, sorry for the late reply but was waiting to see if anyone who was familiar with your kit replied. I’m not.
From a brief look at your existing kit on the net, I would suggest both devices are designed principally as wireless DSL routers. Not to extend or repeat an existing wireless signal.
My suggestion – get an Access Point with “repeater function”. As the function name implies any encryption at source is repeated on to the client device.
