ive set up a wireless network between an xp desktop and a vista laptop, using a linksys wireless usb network adaptor. the laptop has an inbuilt wireless networking card.
the signal strength is said to be excellent , and the laptop is only a couple of metres away from the main desktop.
the wireless network is working fine, but the internet connection on the laptop keeps connecting and disconnecting regulary, say every minute or 30 seconds.
the laptop is set up to connect to the internet through the desktop, the internet on the desktop is fine so im pretty sure it's not that.
when the internet on the laptop disconnects occasionally it reconnects itself but most times i have to disconnect completely from the network and connect again and then the connection only lasts a minute or so
anybody have any ideas?
thanks
