Hello there! really having issues at the moment trying to have internet sharing. When i try to enable internet sharing on the advanced tab of the wireless sharing at error box comes up,

An error occured whilst internet connection sharing was being enabled (null)

I don't know why because this has worked before. My LAN is enabled. I am connected to wireless, but need the LAN to connect to my xbox 360 via an ethernet..but i dont think its an issue with that but more computer settings?
My UPnP settings are enabled. and have contacted my router people (Zyxel) and they say its not an issue with my router. I can connect with an ethernet cable dirrectly into my router and that works..

My address type is assigned by DHCP and all IP assigned automatically.

My firewall is off- i know secruity issues..but this hasnt been changed since when internet sharing last worked!

I have come to a loose end and would appreciate any comments?

Without knowing what router/modem you have i'll have to guess,

i would connect the Xbox360 to an ethernet port on the back of the Modem/router and switch the xbox360 on and reset the Modem/router and re run its wizard with the xbox360 connected.
then it should be tricked into thinking that it is already part of the network.

If you reply with you modem/router model details i can help more!!

Oh i fogot, some routers are anti Xbox live,

make sure that NAT is on or open

And the following ports must be opened on the Router for Xbox Live to operate correctly:
• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074
