I live at a small double wide trailer resort in SD and they host a free wireless internet connection for anyone that lives here i have even confirmed this with them. i have logged onto the router plenty of times to change port forwarding settings for downloading and games and sometimes when i goto 192.168.1.1 and attempt to login in i get -in Firefox (latest) Problem loading page fire fox cant connect, ect. and basically the same in IE7. I do not ask the 'landlord' to do anything with it because they are like 59 and not tech savy what so ever. i know this because one of them was my chem teacher. it is a linksys router. V7. and i can surf the web on any computer with the open source connection they provide but sometimes like right now i cannot login to update my static ip for port-forwarding for online games and such. i have restarted my pc and pressed repair on the wifi connection in my taskbar. it cannot be signal strength cuz i get from low-good connection at speeds from 18kbps-36kbps on a good day. they have a sat. dish as one antenna and a standard second ant. the dish is outside and if i cannot find a way to login to the shared router, i will prolly just walk over to the dish and punch it.
