Instead of making this a long post I'll try to make it a short one as I can write for ages.
My router is being mean to me. I have 2 laptops and a desktop. The Laptops always work fine never had a problem! But when it comes to the desktop I get terrible lagg, often DCs and sometimes I even cant connect to the network or it even wont show up as an avaiable network!
I have tried WEP and it fixed the problem for a short amount of time. I tried changing channels. I tried changing network name - also helped for a small amount of time. I tried moving my wireless adapter closer to the router but I still get worse signal cover then the laptop that is behind 2 walls (I'm behind one). I called my ISP and it said that this problem is mostly coused by either my PC or loss of power on the router. I have reinstalled windows on my PC and ended up with the same problem and I started using the software that came with my Wireless adapter - fixed the problem for a small amount of time. Nothing worked permatly and the problem still appears. I get disconnected for no reason and I cant get connected even when the networks is in range it just trys to connect and ends up saying Disconnected or leaves an window saying Waiting for the network......
