Hi i'm new on here and just wondered if anyone could suggest a solution to
this problem?
I currently work from home but am about to move into a storeroom above a
factory at the end of my road, i have wireless broadband at home and want
to be able to connect to my wireless signal from the new storeroom, the
distance from my house to the storeoom is aprox 800 metres, and it's not a
clear line of sight.
Whats the best aerial etc to use to do this and how much do you think it
will cost??
Any help much apreciated
Cheers

Non - LOS building to building bridging is a lottery at best . Especially over
800M's, and where buisness use is required, personally I would be on the
sceptical side.
If you feel like having a go. So called "Long range" bridging kits are
available for externaly mounting on masts. Usually these have either a
built in directional antenna and/or a reverse sma connector to allow for
different types of antenna.
Although I've never used them, EnGenius do a few kits starting at £60 ish
for the EOC-2610.
Being fed via Power Over Ethernet these units are not reliant on a local
power source - so if you have any way of achieving LOS from the roof(s), go
for it .
