HELLO
Does a unsecured signal from sharing with a nearby neighbor coming into your
no internet home s desktop computer that has a usb wireless adapter also require that you have a router to get a stronger signal or does that make no difference

if you have a wireless computer with a wireless card, you can connect to your neighbor unsecure wireless network. but asume your neighbor knows it.???

You will b able to connect but I don't know if your internal network card will go the distance. Most likely you will need to buy a Wi-Fi adapter/booster to extend your connection and strengthen your signal. I use the Wi-Fire with lets me go about 400ft away from my access point and i still get a strong connection. Actually all my friends have it and we just split the cost of internet so we all dont have to have our own access points. instead we just share it at a lower cost.
