I'm looking for a product, I can put on a mobile network, scan for available SSID's, connect to any wifi network. Pick up an IP Address then translate it for the local LAN. Also looking for information on powerful 802.11 cards, Power over Ethernet (POE), 2.4ghz cat5 lmr n connector conversion (for shorter cable runs).

I've been testing several products, Karlnet makes a SEC Client that did all this, but was not easy to configure, and had no way of scanning ssid's and connecting to the one you wanted. I've tried smartbridges, they go a little further in ease, but still lack compatability.

I have a custom Linux Appliance for controlling various internet connections, I was thinking of incoporating wifi into it, it has a built in webbrowser, and is acting as the gateway for my networks. Looking for powerful cards, or cat5 - lmr n converters for shorter cable lengths. Then offer it as a solution, because I don't find anything out there that does what I want.

Suggestions Please!
