d-link dwl-2100ap
just bought one of these, found it had a non standard reverse sma plug/socket,so replaced it with something from the 'junk' drawer and got it connected to the rather large comet aerial on the roof.noticed there is a 'stub' inside, not sure if this is in use,but am only getting a signal 1/3 the distance from my belkin wireless bb modem ap router 2 floors down, with existing aerials, have i f**ked up the d-link? what is the 'stub' inside for? can take pics if required.
