My Daughter set me up with a D-Link router , Dl-514. It went fine for a while. When storms come through though I unplug everything. I have cable and the last time I unplugged because of a storm, the router had a hard time comming back on. and now my second computor cant get online. My daughter told me to come here and find out how to reset the router. Im pretty computor illiterate so please keep it simple....Heeeeeelp!

Reset to default settings
The following reset procedure will completely restore the default settings on the router including your password.

Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit.

Step 2 With the router powered on, press and hold the Reset button.

Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.

Step 4 Release the Reset button.

Step 5 The device is now at factory defaults.

The default username is admin and leave the password blank.
