Subject: 1computer can see both but the other can only see 1 on my network!!

I have my Desktop and my Laptop Both have
Internet access through a Linksys WRT54GX with SRX
wireless router. My desktop is Wired and also
has the printer hooked up to it. I looked on
my desktop on my network places it shows Both
computers are connected....But when i look on my
Laptop it only shows itself. I can share files
from my desktop to my Laptop but i cant share
from my laptop to my desktop. And i would like
to share my printer that i have hooked up to
my desktop but i can't do that. I have file
sharing setup on both computers with the same
settings on both. The only thing different is
that my desktop uses Norton Interent security
and my laptop uses Mcaffee. I thought that made
a difference but i set the settings the exact
same way on both and it did not work. so i
tried to turn both internet securites off and both
Windows firewalls off... NO LUCK. So
Basically My desktop can see both computers on the
network but my laptop can only see
itself....HELP!! I also had a 2 networking guys
other than myself look at it and they went
through my systems and they cant figure it out...So
i am here !
