I installed a wireless network for my sister in law, and she is operating on an old gateway computer running at 533mhz processor. I also had to install a USB 2.0 card into the wireless PC for the reciever to operate. The computer is about 12 feet from the router, but it has to pass through two walls to reach the reciever. My laptop reads a strong signal from the same location, but the PC is only receiving a low signal at best, and is transferring at only 1 Mbps, and under the best conditions 11 Mbps. The reciever is a DWL-G122, and a standard D-Link Router. I'm totally stumpped on this one.
