Hey,bit of newbie to this forum so scuse any mistakes

Heres my setup:
i have a windows XP AMD athlon desktop, constantly updated, kept very secure. This is conencted to a belkin ADSl2+ Modem with wirelss G router, 802.11g via ethernet, this is transmitted to an identical Dell desktop via USB wirelss adaptor, finally there is an XP laptop added into the equation with wireless Belkin card.
All computers connected via wireless work fine and have very fast internet speeds, however my PC, wired to the router via ethernet, has very very slow internet speeds and has a 0% bandwith usage most of the time. I have checked all the solutions, no spyware, no adaware, no malware, all IP, DNS, subnet mask and gateway settings are fully correct, yet still i get ricdiculously slow internet. This is even more puzzling as when i conenct back to my old Speedtouch modem i get fast internet speeds again.

Anyone suggest any ideas?

Thanks a lot

I guess maybe there is problem on the router port you connected to. Try connect to other port and check the performance.. Try to connect by using other network cable as well, sometimes the problem might be on the cable.
