We have one building with an 8db omni directional antenna and that is the Planet Wireless router. We have 3 other buildings from 300 to 600 feet away from this center building and they have 13 db YAGI directional antennas. All are line-of-sight. We can't get it to work. We just hauled an extension cord up on the roof of one building and fired up a laptop and had the Wireless Access Point (WAP-4000) with its little pigtail antenna and we got a good connection but then connecting the YAGI and we got no connection.

Maybe we are aiming the YAGI wrong?

If anyone knows how these are aimed, please tell me. Presently we have it small end aimed at the other building with the vanes oriented horozontally. Maybe the vanes are to be vertical???

Thanks for any help!

Glenn
